Competition: Presidents Trophy Rd 4.

Conditions: Fine and overcast.
The Match Play Semi's were thought to be the clash of the Titans with the four players eager to get out on the course and do battle. We were all capable of some great golf shots which were evident with three of us chipping in and some good long putts made to save holes. Yogi showed John that straight hitting proved to be a winner. Steve and I played hard with both of us up and down all day until the 18th which Steve won 1 up. Congratulations to both lads with next week's final proving to be another interesting game.
Rob Thompson popped in from the river land for a win with 40 points in A Grade and pinched a meat tray as well. Les steady with 37 points second and Yogi third with 35. Ian Clark won B Grade with a solid 39 points from John Ball's 34 points and Hans winning the count back from the Captain on 32 Points. Darrell Thompson snuck into win C Grade with 33 Points with fellow playing partner Ray Prior second on 31 points from Jeoff Spackman also on 31 Points.
Julie played early and by all accounts following her Ladies Club Champion on Tuesday showed Andrew that mother plays best. Congratulations Julie.
The 2013 AGM will be held on Sat 19th October and the following Committee Positions are up for reelection;

* General Committee Positions x 2
The nominations close on the 14 Sep 13 with the forms available from the Secretary on Saturday.
Sadly I must also report that our Past Vice President Clive Weller is in hospital, we wish Clive and his family our best thoughts.
