Conditions: Fine and hard conditions.
Easter, so quite a few players missing, but we still managed 14 plus a foursome from Peter Kittle Toyota riding with Darryl Hall on the popemobile.
Smiffy proved he can play without the help of Ian Clark by winning A Grade with a fine 39 points, from John Ball's 37 including a par on his "favourite" hole 5, obviously not needing to go walking down the road to retrieve his ball from the tee off. Hans Linford won B Grade with 35 points, and had a massive drive down the 13th that was way past the A Grade long drive. Spacky's 31 was second giving him placings each week so far, and good to see Danny Smith on the podium with 31 points also. Gemma Connors put in her 2nd card for handicap and improved 43 strokes from her first effort, no doubt inspired by the quality of her playing partners Russell, Paul and Ian Telfer.
Next week sees the first stroke event of the season, along with Monthly Medal and putting comp.
