2014 TWO WELLS GOLF RESULTS
Sat 24 May 2014
Competition: Stableford/Hamley Bridge Challenge
No of Players: 17
Conditions: Beautiful
This week saw the players travel up to Hamley Bridge for the bi-annual Hamley Bridge / Two Wells Challenge.
The Hamley course was in the best condition it has ever been in and looked fabulous.
The beautiful fine conditions saw Two Wells once again triumph to make it four in a row. 17 players fronted from Two Wells which was quite pleasing.
Club Captain Paul Shields bounced back from his NAGA last week and put together a fine round scoring 39 points to take out A grade from Robert Hogg
and Ian Smith. B Grade was taken out by "Bluey" Bowden with a great score of 38 points.
In second place and returning to some form was Hans Linford followed by Jeoff Spackman.
After all the players had finished, BBQ tea was demolished and scores tallied,
Two Wells had won the day with an average of 34.06 to Hamley 32.85.
A great day was had by all and we sincerely thank Hamley for their hospitality.
We have no doubt they will be trying their hardest to knock us off in the return match at Two Wells on 9th August.
