Competition: Stroke - 2nd Round Club Champs
No of Players: 24
Conditions: windy, cold
Chris Girling took a firm grip on the Club Championship with a 78/72 in windy, cold and occasionally wet conditions to win A Grade on the day. He now leads Stuart Grigg by 9 shots after 2 rounds. Round of the day goes to Julie Holland who fired an excellent 89/66 and also won the putting comp with only 24 putts with 8 one putts on the back nine. Tim Clifton has a similar stranglehold on B Grade Club Champ with an 11 stroke lead over Jim Weir even though for daily comp he is now in A Grade having reduced his handicap to 18 after last weeks fine round.
This week sees Two Wells host the Adelaide Plains & Barossa Vets on Thursday 3/7,
the ladies sending players to the Hamley Bridge Open on Friday 4/7, followed by night golf at the Club on Friday night and then some players attending the Hamley Bridge Mens Open on Sunday 6/7.
Next Saturday will be Stableford, Round 3 of the President's Trophy. Robert Hogg and Ray Prior are currently leading after 2 rounds.
