Conditions: Fine and very Green.

Fine conditions with the work on the course looking great and complemented by the emergence of green throughout the course it was great to see the fairways look so alive. Thanks to the helpers with Hoggy for the works completed thus far. The first Ambrose of the year was greeted with some friendly banter in the clubhouse with promises of low scores.

Next week is the Hamley Challenge which will test the locals who will attempt to steal the trophy back this year. We should have a good field of around 20 players to compete the local lads who will defend with their lives.
