2013 TWO WELLS GOLF RESULTS

No of Players: 19.
Conditions: Fine, wet, fine, windy.

AFL Grand Final day saw an early start to allow for football tragics to get home and see the match. An excellent 19 players fronted which was more than expected and Bobby Hogg had the course looking as good as it could with plenty of short grass on the fairways and plenty of long grass if you strayed. He had been fairly inventive with some of his mowing with a large number of "crop circles" left in strategic places if you happened to top a drive or two.
Adam Bail continued his good game/bad game run with a good 39 points to win A Grade after coming last the week before, a mirror image of Russell Grigg who did it the opposite way, first to last. Bobby Hogg continued his consistent form also with 39 to be beaten on countback into 2nd place. The Spackman/Clark/Smiffy trio took out all the placings in B Grade with Spacky's 42 and Clarky's 41 losing them a stroke off their handicaps.
It was good to see Cheyenne Readett out playing to honor his late Pop, Clive Weller, and he played off Clive's handicap and shot an excellent 39 points and recounted a few memories of playing with his Pop at Two Wells over the years.
Next week, the long weekend, popular opinion will see us play a 2 man ambrose and have some fun with that.
