2013 TWO WELLS GOLF RESULTS

Competition: Stableford No of Players: 23 Conditions: Fine, windy.

If it is possible, there were more flies hanging around than the week before.
But they, Bluey Bowden, John Boon and Gemma (Jake's fiancee), were witness to a fantastic hole in one on the 12th (200m par 3into the wind) by Jake Bowden. The whoops and hollers could be heard all over the course. Great shot Jake, and the 1st male to do so at the 12th in the Club's history. Another addition to the honor board in the Clubrooms.
The day saw plenty of run, 1 snake and a lot of goannas out there.
Winner of A Grade was Andrew Baker with 40 from the Grigg boys (son and father).
B Grade saw an outstanding score from Captain, Paul Shields, with 48 points and 76 off the stick that was far and away the best score of the season. Those low running shots of his came into their own with the course conditions.
Season presentations were also made in conjunction with a BBQ tea and Yogi Frencken and Les Grafton featured prominently.
Next week (19/10) will be the annual AGM at 5:00pm after an ambrose and probably the last match of the season.
