A ripper of a day for golf and with some pretty good scoring all round particularly in A grade with Les Grafton returning a superb 43 points and 74 off of the stick. Les was closely followed by a rampaging Johnny Ball with 41 points, golf carts must really help your golf!! Third place in A grade was taken out by Yogi Frencken who also picked up the NTP and birdies nest on hole number 2 for good measure. B Grade was dominated by the iron play of the scoring machine Ian Telfer. Although some of Ian's holes resembled a yachting course, tacking backwards and forwards he made up for it with some long iron shots and classy chipping. Ian's 37 points was followed by the 35 points of the hard track specialist Jeoff Spackman and consistent James Weir with 34 points. Next week will see the Medal of Medals contested followed by the AGM at which we hope to see all members present to select the 2015 committee. See you all next week, good golfing everyone.
