Conditions: way too warm

AFL Grand Final day and only 12 hardy souls, not interested in footy, braved some pretty warm and windy conditions at Royal Two Wells.
The hard running conditions must have suited the worm burners of Paul Shields who shot a fine 40 points to take out A Grade from Yogi who also hits the ball low and straight.
Hans Linford continued his good run of form to win B Grade with 40 points from Danny Smith and Steve Kelly also 40 points. It was good to see Danny also take out B Grade long drive and the pro's approach on 18 as well as a birdie on that hole, testament to his long straight hitting on the day.
Next week is presentation day Ambrose and BBQ tea and probably the last match for the season unless we get some rain. The course is starting to get a bit hard, the grass is dying off and those "Joe Blakes" are starting to appear, which will keep the course manager Hoggy off the course.
