Competition: Stroke, 2nd Round Club Champs
No of Players: 21 Conditions: Fine
Second round of the Club Champs and the moves have begun. Les Grafton picked up 4 strokes on the leader Stuart Grigg and Bobby Hogg, with a win in A Grade, also jumped over a few into 3rd place. Meanwhile Russell Grigg thought travelling south was the way to go and dropped a place or two kicking and screaming.
In B Grade Ian Clark holds a slender lead from a rapidly improving Hans Linford, winner of B Grade, followed closely by Ian Smith and Ray Prior.
Everybody's thoughts and best wishes are with Andrew Baker, and Mum Julie Holland. Andrew has been in intensive care in QEH for the last 12 days and is now starting to recover and should be moved to a ward in a few days. A very traumatic time for the family. Andrew, the players have been asking about your welfare and want to see you out on the course soon. Hans is missing someone to talk at and has had to resort to talking to himself.
Next week is Stableford, Round 3 of President's Trophy and a few Two Wells players journey to Hamley Bridge on Sunday 5th July for their Open Day.
