Competition: Stableford, 3rd round President's Trophy
No of Players: 21 Conditions: Fine
Stuart Grigg completed a good day taking out A Grade with 42 points (74 off the stick), and NTP on the 15th, pro's approach, as well as a meat tray, and is a handy leader after 3 rounds of the President's Trophy for Stableford. Handy form to take into next weeks 3rd round of the Club Champs where he holds a slender 3 stroke lead over Les Grafton.
B Grade saw Ian Clark continue a good run of form, also with 42 points to knock off good mate and playing partner, Smiffy who had 39.
It was great to see Club legend, Shorty Paul, out to have a look at the golfers from the luxury of Les' cart and hopefully he enjoyed the day. He was at his best with the flying comments, and everyone was pleased to see him out and still in fine verbal form.
Next week will be round 3 of the Club Champs and Monthly Medal and there are a few Opening Days over the next few weeks, with Hamley Bridge on 5th July, Owen on 12th July and Two Wells on 23rd July.
