Competition: Stroke, 3rd Round Club Champs
No of Players: 21 Conditions: Fine, wet, windy, fine, hail, windy, fine, cold.
Moving day in Club Champs and it was cold and windy out there. Andrew Baker made a welcome return from his stay in hospital and managed to get through the round. His score wasn't great, but he was pretty happy to be out having a hit. Rob Thompson made a flying visit from Waikerie and walked away winning A Grade and the Monthly Medal with a solid 76/65 and probably some of Hoggies hard-earned as well.
B Grade, on the day, was won by James Weir in a close contest from Jeff Spackman and Ian Smith, although the 5 hours it took his group to complete their round will have to be closely monitored and appropriate fines levied.
In the Club Champs Stuart Grigg increased his lead over Les Grafton to 8 strokes and looks to be in command with 1 round to go. B Grade saw Ian Clark hold his lead and go into the last round with a 5 stroke lead over Smiffy, the 2 mates to battle it out next week.
