Fine condition again with a light breeze greeted 19 Men and 2 ladies along with Bob Girling visiting Chris from QLD for the April Monthly Medal, Putting & Stroke Competition.

A Grade again saw Captain Paul Shields playing steady golf and despite a mid-round stumble still carded an 83/68 to take out A Grade. John Ball 2nd with a steady 88/71 again all that summer practice beginning to pay dividends. Bobby Hogg also consistent with 88/75 to finish 3rd. Dr Chris Girling playing his first round for some time again found his touch with some excellent drives and his approach shots. He was a bit rusty but showed good form on the day.

B Grade saw the dominator Chris Barker win with a brilliant display of golf finishing with 89/67 also an eagle on 17. Mr Consistent Doug Burford again playing well despite some errors mid game admitted he had played the best round he could recall on the long back nine finishing with 101/70 to take 2nd place. Jeoff Spackman in his first appearance for 2016 finished 3rd with 95/72.
