Conditions still hard due to the lack of rain at Two Wells however the 18 players competing in the first round of the Captains Trophy played well with a mixture of results.
A Grade won by John Ball easily with +6 with Andrew Baker finishing square to take 2nd place and Bobby Hogg 3rd with +1.

B Grade winner Danny Smith returning form a long break a comfortable winner with +4 ahead of the steady Doug Burford on +1 and Hans Linford also on +1.

Other Results were A. Baker +1, C. Baker -1, I. Clark -1, A. Christou 0, M. Davies -3, S. Kelly 0, J. Mills -3, G. Payne -2, P. Shields -3, I. Smith -2, and J.Weir 1.
