Competition: President's Trophy Rd 2 - Stableford.

Light winds and fine conditions with some clouds overhead greeted the 16 players today for the 2nd round of the President's Trophy. The course is greening up after the previous week's rainfall and once the spraying has taken with the mowing the course will be ready for next week's first round of the Club Championships.

Andrew Baker took advantage of the conditions with a great eagle on the 17th to win A Grade with 38 Pts with Stuart Grigg back preparing for next week winning 2nd from Jake Bowden both on 33 Pts.

Next week's championships will see A. Baker, J. Ball, J. Bowden, S. Grigg, R. Hogg P. Shields all eligible to play with L. Grafton & Y. Frencken absent.

A. Christou claiming B Grade with a fine 39 points from Doug Burford on 38 Pts with Gary Payne taking the minor placing on 36 Pts.

The B Grade contenders are A. Bail, C. Barker, N. Bowden, D. Burford, I. Clark, S. Kelly H. Linford, G. Payne, R. Prior, D. Smith and I Smith.

Match Play winners today I. Smith, R. Hogg, S. Kelly.

Open Days approaching: Hamley Bridge 03 Jul 16, Owen 10 Jul 16, and TWO WELLS 24 Jul 16. Members are asked to support all and provide names for the secretary to send to the clubs.
