Today's weather forecast of strong winds, hail, and heavy rain sadly was correct.
Proving again to test the resolve of the 31 golfers who arrived at Two Wells for the 2016 Open Day.
Two squalls hitting the course during the Open proved it extremely tough but all battled on to the finish.
The bursts of no rain and warm sunshine certainly a highlight and offered some respite for all out on the course.

The Captain welcomed all and thanked them for supporting the event again.
The Sponsors also acknowledged for their generous contributions again and the prizes reflected
their commitment to ensure the Open Day was a success.

Paul thanked the local members for their combined assistance on and off the course in preparation for the Open
which also contributed to a great day with all enjoying the meal and soup after the round well done to the ladies
who assisted in the kitchen and made us all smile. Despite the loss of up to a dozen tree's last Tuesday and the
breakdown of the slasher the members were able to clear away falling trees, limbs and clean up the course.
Well done team.
