Competition: Medal Of Medals - Stroke - Putting

A small field of 11 players competed in the Stroke round and Medal of Medals on Saturday. Two match plays were completed with John Ball defeating Paul Shields 5/4 and Gary Payne defeating Andrew Baker 2/1. Hans Linford playing Steve Kelly to meet up with Gary Payne in the final. Jake Bowden taking the medal of medals for season 2016.

The rain again very pleasing for the ongoing coverage of the course which again is looking great. With the Slasher back in action Gary has been busy cutting day and night to keep up with the growth.

Elaine Grigg joined the ladies for a hit with Leanne Brooks winning the day with 72 Second place Elaine Grigg 76 and Julie Holland in her own words having a shocker with 91 nett.

B Grade results; J. Weir 72, G. Payne 75, H. Linford 85 and S. Kelly 88.

Reminder to all members that nominations for the 2017 Election of Office bearers for the committee will be held with the coming AGM in late Sept early October. Positions that need to be elected are President, Captain, Secretary and Handicapper. Please think about nominating for the various positions and help the committee and the TWGC continue for Season 2017.
